Doug KingSenior Vice President of Administration & Chief Information Officer

As SVP, Administration and Chief Information Officer for LANDAUER, Mr. King is responsible for Information Technology, Global Program Management, Quality Assurance, Continuous (Process) improvement and Legal Functions. In this role, he directs cross-functional Program Management for mission critical initiatives, leads process improvement and partners with Landauer’s Marketing and Innovation team in the development of Information-based Products & Services. In his role as CIO, he has responsibility for developing the overall technology vision, strategy and architecture for all software applications and infrastructure. He is focused on delivering applications and data-driven solutions that result in greater efficiencies and economies of scale for LANDAUER’s operations and its customers.

With over 14 years as a C-level and Senior Management executive, Mr. King has a proven track record in IT & Business strategy development, organizational design, operations management, technology assessment and program implementation spanning numerous industries including manufacturing, construction products, publishing/media, and professional services. His results-oriented approach has led to demonstrated successes in both high growth and turnaround/distressed environments, for organizations ranging in revenues from $50M to $1B+.

Prior to Landauer, Mr. King held several leadership roles, including Senior VP and Chief Information Officer, Senior VP of Sales and Marketing, Corporate Vice President, Director of Supply Chain Management, and Program Director.

King earned a dual Masters Degree (MBA, MEM) from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University, where he was awarded the “Kellogg Award” and graduated with concentrations in Management & Strategy, Information Technology and Manufacturing Management. He also earned his Bachelor of Arts at Northwestern University in 1989. He has been featured on CNET, was previously a member of the Georgia CIO Leadership Council, and is currently a member of the Kellogg Graduate School of Management Alumni Council and the Executives’ Club of Chicago.
