Dosimetry Accreditation
The RadWatch Dosimeter and its reported dose meet the requirements of the Ionizing Radiation Dosimetry Laboratory Accreditation Program of the National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program (NVLAP LAB CODE 100518-0). The final analytical dose can be used for the soldier’s or first responder’s permanent medical record.
A central processing lab can provide a final NVLAP accredited dose of record analysis after use. By this method, the RadWatch and RadLight system can provide a legal dose of record for dose reconstruction, risk mitigation, and legal defense.
